Brooklyn Greenway Initiative is a non-profit organization committed to the establishment, development and long-term stewardship of the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway. When complete, the 14-mile landscaped route will connect neighborhood parks and open spaces for pedestrians and cyclists from Greenpoint to Bay Ridge.
Starting at Newtown Barge Playground in Greenpoint and finishing at Rockaway Beach, the ride along the waterfront greenway offers incomparable views.
Following the ride, an after-party will be held for all participants on the beach with food from Rockaway vendors and a cooling swim in the ocean.
