Find “Temptation in Every Aisle” at Garden of Eden

Stepping into Garden of Eden Marketplace on Montague Street feels like you’ve been transported from Brooklyn Heights to a European outdoor market. The immense selection of goods, produce, meats and bakery items is apparent but the most exciting items just might be those you have yet to discover.

With over 10,000 different food items adorning nearly every inch of the market, you can bet Garden of Eden has something for everyone.

Garden of Eden is owned and operated by Mustafa Coskun who opened the specialty grocery in 1994. With other locations in Manhattan and one soon opening in New Jersey, this marketplace has since established itself as a New York staple.

“Our message is clear,” says Mustafa. “We want to give the best quality products at a fair price. Our focus will always be on our quality of service.”

Customers are able to purchase produce, meats and specialty items that are handpicked by both local and international suppliers and delivered to Garden of Eden nightly.

Not everything in this marketplace is outsourced, however. Their wide selection of prepared foods are made by Garden of Eden’s in-house chefs. Soups, salads, warm dishes and sauces are prepared and served up daily.
