Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts partnered with Lakeside Prospect Park and PBS Kids Club THIRTEEN to host a super fun event for children this past weekend! The Dinosaur Train crew and a group of 2-5 year old kids participated in activities, enjoyed a preview of Dinosaur Train’s “Classic in the Jurassic” special, and met Buddy the T-Rex.
Dinosaur Train embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains, while encouraging basic scientific thinking skills as the audience learns about life science, natural history and paleontology.
The best part about the event? It was completely free!
