Flatbush: Brooklyn Center For The Performing Arts
Looking for an acrobatic theatrical experience, a family friendly puppet performance or a timeless ballet,…
The Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights hosts a number of family-friendly events throughout the year. For any little one growing up in the big city, learning how to navigate is a big hurdle.
In the museum’s “Safety City” Road Course, children drive through a mini-city road course complete with traffic lights, pedestrian crosswalks and lifelike street attractions along the “road”. Children will practice how to be safe both as drivers on pedal go-carts and as pedestrians. Once they succeed in the course, kids are awarded their “Safety City” license.
The course takes about 30 minutes with daily availability at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30pm. Purchase tickets ahead of time on the Jewish Children’s Museum website.
