Michael Ayoub has his restaurant recipe all figured out – wood-fired pizzas, Italian sandwiches and sweets combined with impressive views of Manhattan.
Well, lucky for those of us outside the ever-popular Williamsburg/Greenpoint stratosphere, Ayoub has just opened his newest Fornino location on Pier 6 at the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
A few of the menu items are not made in-house but are locally sourced such as Doughnuts from Dough, Blue Marble Ice Cream and Brooklyn Brewery Beers.
So go ahead and find the spot on their rooftop terrace, try a slice of the “Al Roker” and watch the sunset over the New York skyline!
