Downtown Brooklyn: Programming for Non-Programmers

Forest City Ratner Companies and the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership have teamed up with General Assembly this summer to organize Workshop Wednesdays. Continuing on Wednesday, August 20, a free class on programming for non-programmers will provide attendees with an overview of coding languages and their various uses.

The class is aimed at both people who want to communicate more effectively with their web development teams and those who want to learn code themselves but do not know where to start.

Workshop Wednesdays are part of Summer @ MetroTech which has brought outdoor concerts, movies, art exhibits and talks to Downtown Brooklyn throughout the season.

So regardless of how technologically savvy you currently are, take advantage of the opportunity to learn something new and become more marketable in a growing field.
