Williamsburg veteran Vittoria Cafe has evolved through three generations of family ownership, from a bakery to pure coffee shop to its present incarnation as a cafe. A beautiful blend of its history, this space now serves bagels and pastries alongside hand-crafted coffee and tea beverages. The E61 Jubile Faema Espresso Machine, launched in 1961 and incorporated into Vittoria’s repertoire in 1969, is still used today, keeping the old-style Sicilian brewing techniques alive in modern Brooklyn.
Fun Fact: This cafe keeps family close to heart, which is illustrated not only in namesake (the founder named his bakery after his daughter, Vittoria) but also in dynamic. The current owner met his wife when she began working at the coffee shop; they now have children of their own.
