Bushwick / Bed Stuy: From Denmark to Brooklyn

Miss Marlow has made the long journey from Denmark to Brooklyn and the anticipation is killing us!

In the case of New York based band Miss Marlow, the feminine power of central figure Marleen Pfeifer (vocals/guitar) is threefold: seductive, strong, and sassy. Having recently moved to the US from Denmark, Pfeifer and her band are getting ready to stake their claim on an international fan base with her blend of dark, striking melodic rock mixed with pockets of softness and enchantment.

With a  musical history beginning in girl-punk-garage band Snatch, Pfeifer brings a distinctive edge to all she creates. After touring internationally behind her 2012 debut album, Heart Beat, and scoring the #1 spot for all genres in Denmark on NumberOneMusic for her song “Teach Me”, Miss Marlow is now offering the first taste of her forthcoming follow-up album with her latest single, “Something Special”.
Miss Marlow is playing two shows in Brooklyn next month: Wednesday, Sept 10th at Goodbye Blue Monday in Bed Stuy and Thurs, Sept 11th at Central Station in Bushwick.
